Bryce Hospital 2 Founder’s Message
Howdy Everyone,
My foundation gifts Apple iPads because of my own experience with my iPad as I battled cancer as a 15-year-old. An area that I felt was overlooked with childhood cancer was the mental health side. The impact these tablets have on the child’s mental health and well-being, while on the oncology floor, is more than just a nice big screen to play games on. These iPads are the connection to the outside world for these children: they can keep up with schoolwork, connect through FaceTime or other social apps, with family and friends, as well as be entertained during long hospital stays and/or clinic visits.
I want to thank every donor who has donated! The smiles you see on these children’s faces when receiving their new iPads, are there because of the compassion and generosity of your donation. My foundation is just the vessel handing the iPads out, we could not do this without our donors and we are so grateful and blessed for their generosity. Every dollar counts, so thank you very much for helping to make these amazing children’s journey, just a little bit easier.
